Would you please note that you are listed as a run captain on at least one occasion during this
period and your generosity in volunteering is appreciated. (Whether you knew about it or not!)

Should you have any difficulty with the rostered day, would you please try to arrange a swap with
another run captain or, as a last resort, contact any one of the organising group listed here:-

The route of each run is up to you as run captain, so feel free to add anything that you think may
be of interest or enjoyment, whilst of course keeping to the nominated final destination.

Please note the comments at the end of the list regarding rainy days.

"RAINY DAYS"
The run captains are not expected to turn up at the departure point on days when the weather
forecast indicates that rain is expected or when it is obvious that the day will be wet.
If in doubt call the departure points for an update as to conditions -

Should the run captain have made the decision not to turn up and you have arrived intending to ride
- select a new run captain and enjoy the day!
(Editor's note: don't let the possibility of rain put you off. Some of the more memorable rides have
been on wet days or days that looked like being wet but turned out mostly dry).
