Ulysses Northern Beaches Weekend Ride Calendar

Most rides leave from the small shopping centre car park on Mona Vale Rd at St Ives.
This is opposite Mawson St and next door to the petrol station.
This is not the main St Ives Shopping Centre.
Some rides also have pick ups at PITS while others don't and some rides have unusual starting times.
Please check the schedule before the ride as we don't want you to be left behind.
Please check the ride calendar a day or two before the ride, as it may have changed.
Also note that when there are weekend away rides there will be an impromptu ride
for those who can't go, leaving from St. Ives at 9:00 am.

Every Saturday The Ken Bateman ride.
Meet at the Pie in the Sky (PITS) on the Old Pacific Highway 7km after the freeway turnoff at
Berowra for a bit of company, a good coffee and a pie or two.

Ride Leader Considerations.

Ask if there are any new members present and 'welcome" them to the Club.
Make sure everyone knows where the ride is going and by what route.
Ask for a volunteer to be sweeper, if considered necessary.
If the ride involves unmarked turns, consider arranging corner marking.
Try not to lose anyone.
Above all, make sure EVERYONE has a fun ride.

Ride classifications:
Type 1 - experienced riders. Long and/or fast ride.
Type 2 - Medium length. Suitable for most riders.
Type 3 - Short and easy. Suitable for all including new riders.
